Where Pakistan watches — licensed broadcasters
Watch cricket legally in Pakistan
Pakistan’s cricket rights market splits cleanly between the PCB-owned PSL contract (the only major T20 league with full domestic legal coverage), the Pakistan men’s team tour rights, and ICC global event rights. PTV Sports is the free-to-air anchor, A Sports the premium HD carrier, and Tapmad TV the legal digital stream.
| Series 2026 | Format | Pakistan broadcaster | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| PSL 2026 | T20 league | PTV Sports / A Sports / Tapmad TV | Full domestic legal coverage; FTA via PTV |
| ICC Champions Trophy | ODI | PTV Sports / Tapmad TV | Pakistan host nation |
| ICC T20 World Cup 2026 | T20 | PTV / A Sports | India + Sri Lanka co-host |
| Pakistan tour of England | Tests + ODIs + T20Is | PTV Sports / A Sports | Sky Sports Cricket in the UK |
| Pakistan vs Bangladesh ODIs | ODI | PTV Sports / A Sports | Home series |
| IPL 2026 | T20 league | Not licensed (PEMRA blackout) | No legal route in Pakistan |
| Asia Cup 2026 | T20 / ODI (TBC) | PTV / A Sports | Six nations |
Top five legal cricket platforms in Pakistan
- PTV Sports — the state broadcaster’s sports channel, free-to-air on terrestrial and satellite. Carries PSL, Pakistan men’s tours (home and away), and ICC events that PCB licenses domestically. No subscription required.
- A Sports — the premium HD home of PSL and Pakistan tours, owned by ARY. Carried on all major Pakistani cable and DTH packages; the picture quality and ad load is the upgrade reason over PTV.
- Tapmad TV — Pakistan’s licensed digital cricket platform. Streams PSL, Pakistan tours and ICC content with HLS feeds plus a mobile experience. The legal alternative to unauthorised streaming sites.
- ARY Sports / ARY Digital — sister channel to A Sports, occasionally carrying PSL highlights and selected Pakistan content.
- Ten Sports Pakistan — historical Pakistan rights carrier; still picks up selected Indian away tours (India vs Australia, India tour of overseas where Pakistan rights are licensed).
Free legal cricket in Pakistan
PTV Sports is the cornerstone of free-to-air cricket in Pakistan. Every PSL match is on PTV, every Pakistan men’s home and away tour is on PTV, and the major ICC events that PCB licenses domestically run on PTV. Pakistan has stronger FTA cricket coverage than India does — the trade-off is that the IPL is not available on any legal Pakistani platform.
PSL 2026 — what to expect
The PSL runs April–May 2026 with six franchises. PTV Sports + A Sports + Tapmad TV form the standard legal triple for in-Pakistan viewing. PTV’s FTA carry means PSL is the most accessible cricket league in Pakistan — no subscription, no platform lock-in. Tapmad TV’s digital stream is the mobile-friendly option for viewers on the move.
For diaspora: Sky Sports / Willow TV (UK and US) carry PSL internationally, Sony Sports has historically held PSL rights in India (subject to confirmation for 2026), and Australian carriage is TBC.
Pakistan tours 2026
Two major Pakistan tours frame the year. Pakistan tour of England (July–August 2026) — Tests, ODIs and T20Is, on Sky Sports Cricket in the UK and PTV Sports + A Sports in Pakistan. Pakistan vs Bangladesh home series (April 2026) — ODIs on PTV Sports + A Sports with Tapmad TV streaming.
The IPL blackout — the honest answer
There is no licensed route to watch the IPL inside Pakistan. PEMRA (the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority) has maintained an effective ban on IPL broadcasts in Pakistan since the early 2010s, following bilateral tensions. Indian rights-holders Star Sports and JioHotstar do not license the IPL into Pakistan.
CricHD Guide does not advise on circumventing the blackout. We list this honestly so readers understand the legal position before searching for unauthorised alternatives. PSL viewers inside Pakistan have full FTA coverage — that is the editorial focus of this site.
ICC events 2026 in Pakistan
ICC Champions Trophy 2026 is the marquee Pakistan-hosted event of the year. PTV Sports carries the full tournament free-to-air; Tapmad TV streams. The 8-team format favours Pakistan as host. ICC T20 World Cup 2026 (India + Sri Lanka co-host, February–March) is on PTV Sports + A Sports in Pakistan with all Pakistan matches on FTA.

Editorial context — the CricHD brand and takedown history
CricHD is the long-running brand of an unauthorised cricket-streaming network that has rotated domains (crichd.top, crichd.is and others) over the better part of a decade. The brand served both Pakistani and Indian cricket demand simultaneously — Pakistan PSL and India IPL on the same proxy network — which is why takedown action has come from both sides.
CricHD Guide is editorial and independent. We use the brand name for search-redirection purposes only: directing readers who searched for "crichd live" toward the licensed Pakistani and Indian broadcasters that hold the rights. We do not host, embed, link to or describe any unauthorised stream.
